Project in Kolašin: A New Standard of Mountain Retreat

Project in Kolašin — the largest mountain resort in the Balkans, located in the northern part of Montenegro. The project includes 23 hotel and residential buildings and 73 private exclusive chalets, developed in accordance with the master plan by Ecosign — the world's leading mountain resort designer. The resort is situated on two levels: 1450 and 1600 meters. At an altitude of 1450 m, there are 13 buildings and 45 chalets, and at an altitude of 1600 m — 10 buildings and 28 chalets. Both levels are connected by cable cars, providing complete skiing opportunities within a unique concept. As a new premium resort with a ski-in/ski-out system, the project sets new standards for alpine retreats in the Adriatic region.

Today, Kolašin is the fastest-growing city in Montenegro, including coastal cities. It has become not only a place for winter and summer vacations but also for permanent residence. In winter, the project attracts tourists with opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, rafting, ski tours, snowmobile rides, and hiking. In summer, it offers mountain retreats, trekking, rafting, fishing, horseback riding, safaris, visits to canyons and caves. The resort is located in close proximity to Montenegro's national parks.

Amenities and Infrastructure:
The project includes a wide range of entertainment facilities: more than 35 restaurants, numerous bars and shops, spa centers, fitness clubs, and discos. Private chalets provide 24-hour service with a personal butler and chef.

Since 2020, developers from across the country, including southern regions, have been actively investing in the development of northern Montenegro. The project has become the main attraction center for visitors to the northern part of the country. A fast highway, opened in July 2022, connects the capital and airport with the Kolašin resort, reducing travel time to 45 minutes. The second phase of highway construction, to be completed within three years, will reduce travel time from Belgrade to Kolašin to less than three hours.

Construction and Development:
This year, the first hotel "S" (Swissotel brand) has already started operating. Three additional hotels ("D", "E", and "Q") are planned to be completed this winter, buildings "R" and "B" — by the end of next year. In the lower part at an altitude of 1600 m, construction of buildings N, O, P has begun, as well as building "C" ("Hotel B") at an altitude of 1450 m. The new building will feature a spacious SPA area, and management will be taken over by one of the renowned global hotel chains, ensuring a high level of comfort for guests.
